As ruin, there is not much left, it’s impressive that a structure of over 2,000 years is still there. Climb to the top and check out the amazing construction of the broch. Nice view and some imagination you visualise how it must have been. Extremely well kept, excellent information boards and brilliant view. 

The park has great facilities and a range of different animals to look at. Come face to face with some of the world’s most endangered animals. Perfect place for kids with lots for them to do. Get up close to the animals in the large walkthroughs. Really lovely wildlife park where you can walk through the penguin, wallaby & lemur enclosures.

Fascinating interior full of laid stone and graves. 

A really nice quaint beach town with a lovely, long stone beach. This is a shingle beach, with some great views. Nice for a family day out and a picnic. There are a lot of reasonably priced guesthouses/hotels to stay at nearby. The beach has parking spaces, cafés and public toilets.

After a good walk around the gardens follow the signed trail to the woods to see camelias and rhododendron in abundance heady scent fills the air.

Great little museum, which tells an important story. This is a wonderful place telling the truth about what actually happened during Bloody Sunday and the years of struggle that these brave working-class families had to endure, to gain some kind of justice from the British establishment.

This is very a popular attraction. It attracts over one million visitors a year. The park is a fun day out for the whole family with loads of activities to keep the children busy, including the play centre with high ropes, paddling pool, skate park, crazy golf and donkey rides. The park is kept very clean and the events that happen in the area are amazing.

This is one of the most famous lighthouses in Scotland. Nice destination. The scenery here is stunning. Very busy single-track roads to get there. Arrive early. See one of Scotland’s most dramatic waterfalls. Really impressive waterfalls and an easy walk down from the carpark. When in full spate this waterfall is a monster and the suspension bridge across the gorge allows you an uninterrupted, up close view of it. The bridge is beautiful. From July to late September you can see the salmon leaping high out of the water in there way upstream. There are multiple walks in the area for all levels of ability. Lovely place to walk around, with beautiful scenery. 

The waterfall is a good sight and the children enjoyed paddling in the rapids above the waterfall. It is a 150m walk from the car park. Beautiful views and stunning falls. At the top of the waterfalls when the water is low enough you can walk on some rocks for a nice view. Lower down there is a purpose-built wooden platform that gives the best views of the falls. Enjoy some brilliant mountain views from the path that circles back round to the car park. Easy access to the view point and well worth the effort to getting here. Free parking. 

This is a sandy beach. The beach itself is a large expanse of golden sand.  Explore the beautiful natural arch. There is parking nearby and a huge play area for kids. Nice dunes, clean bright sand and stunningly clear water. Lovely beach wherever the tide is. There's plenty of wildlife in the area too. Excellent beach for surfing.

This Hall is an 18th century country house. Beautiful walk around the snowdrops, along to the lake and walked garden. Ideal location, lovely scenery, great cottage with plenty of space for everyone and the pool was an added bonus.

Beautiful place with lovely mountain views. Amazing sounds of water flowing through rocks. This place is beautiful and peaceful. It is better to get there early in the day or late in the day to avoid the massive crowd of tourists. The pools are beautiful and the mountain valley they are set in is iconic in the world. There is also cliff jumping here if you aren’t afraid of cold water. They are awesome and you just can spend a good amount of time there. It is a short walk from the car park. The place is truly magical and enormous. Totally worth to visit, once in a lifetime opportunity to see a place like this.

A roadside attraction as you enter the village. You can climb down. A beautiful and tranquil place to explore. This is very picturesque, beautiful place to walk and view. It is an amazing location and great for photography.

A very interesting building with a lot of history. An absolutely stunning cathedral. Impressive architecture inside and out, with almost 400 years of history within these walls and wonderful acoustics. Open to the public, and has a small museum attached to it, with loads of information and artefacts on display.

Well worth a visit, even if it is just to see these alone. Explore the surrounding beautiful Scottish Island. Entrance is free and there is plenty to see.

 It consists of about 200 stones erected in more than 22 rows on hillside. They were erected about 4,000 years ago. Absolutely breath-taking setting for this mysterious ancient hill of stones. Follow the circular path around to examine the site. Information boards suggesting possible reasons behind the stone arrangements. Large arrangements of stone rows like this are very rare. Explore and enjoy this historical landmark. 

An actual working barrack so you are likely to see military personnel around. Great little chapel with lots of history, at the end of Fort. Amazing museum and the views from up the walls are spectacular. Lots of videos & things of interest. The museum is packed full with interesting information and the displays are fantastic. Fascinating place, huge Georgian fort built. Very well worth a visit. It can take quite a while to walk around and see other parts so make sure you allocate at least 2-3 hours. The place is big, you can explore outside and walk on the ramparts, wander around buildings and also see inside some of the buildings.

The Castle is stunning. Access to main castle is by tour only, lasting approximately one hour. The guardroom, kitchens, gift shop and cafe are open for free. The tour is very interesting and covers the history of the Castle and the family from the 1500s to the present. Great educational tour of the rooms and a little bit of exploration around the gardens. Plenty for the kids to do, with a nice playground for children.

A beautiful and very special location.  There are a few marker boards around the site giving you an idea of the history of the cairns which was very helpful. originally was built 5,000 years ago. The cairns have gates by which you can enter the cairns. Excellent Cairns with an incredible story. What a little archaeological gem really beautiful, free and set in a landscape that really gives you the feeling of prehistory and the people who came before. Amazing historical site and highly recommend a visit. Great for exploring. 

The waterfall is amazing to see and there's a lovely, not too difficult walk to get to it with good views at the top. Not suitable for young children.

Great aquarium with lots of sea creatures. A perfect place for a family day out. Well worth a visit with the kids. They are guaranteed to love all the fascinating species of sea creatures.

Wonderful place. UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are no permanent residents on this island. However, the main island  is occupied all year round by the people who work on the military base, now almost entirely a civilian workforce. The National Trust for Scotland staff are resident on the island from April to September every year.

This is a truly stunning beach with plenty of golden sand to walk along. The sea and waves are beautiful and the sun on the water is amazing. Nice and clean, litter free beach which seems to stretch for miles. Lifeboat huts and public free toilets at the coastguard station available. Very picturesque town with cafes and shops nearby. 

The short walk from the car park is well worth it as you reach the top of the hill and catch your first glimpse you could actually think you were in the Caribbean the white sand and clear water is amazing and you actually have to remind yourself where you are. The beach itself is beautiful. Flowers in blooms in spring, birds and seals around.  Take a picnic and enjoy.

This is an iconic building and the views are spectacular. This is the place to be for any special occasion like a birthday celebration or anniversary. Spectacular 360 degree views of London city. 

This is a large pinnacle rock on the hill. A mythical place. Somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. A view you will never forget. Come very early in the morning to see the sun rise in the horizon. Arrive by 7 AM to avoid the crowds. You will have one of the most breath-taking landscapes you will ever see in your life. Then keep going and do the trail. Great attraction and an interesting to walk / climb around. But you must have the right equipment. Good hiking shoes, warm clothes, food and water. It’s a 9 KM tour absolutely stunning. The views and scenery are unlike any other.

This is a fantastic pebble beach. The beach has a natural curve and nice breeze/wind depending which season you visit.   Great for wetsuit swimming, fishing and a nice little shore dive for scuba divers. Many visitors build artistic stacks of these stones along the Beach. The wildlife is amazing. You can see otters, seals cormorants and gannets.

A beautiful and stunning beach. Lovely views and very clean. Great sand dunes for the adventurous. The beach is long and spacious, making it great for long walks. 

This is a small Sandy beach area with a great view. Nice black sand beach. The dinosaur footprints are easy to see and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. It’s a busy beach. Free on-street parking.

An amazing trail and amazing views. Beautiful place but dangerous path especially during misty and rainy days. You will definitely enjoy the scenery and the breath-taking views! Most spectacular landscape and surrounding areas. This is very beautiful and worth the visit. Some stunning scenery here, but make sure you bring hiking shoes. A really long trail through the mountains. Views are astonishing from the beginning of it, so you can walk as much as you can. Highly recommended for a  hike.

A beautiful clean pebble and sand beach.  An amazing sandy beach location at low tide. Great area to walk and relax any time of year. There are lots of benches along the way including steps that double as sitting areas. There are also little huts selling food, ice cream, rock etc. The car park is only 10 metres from the beach. Lots of sand for the kids to play when the tide is out and good for paddling. A very beautiful pleasant beach.

This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the UK. There is a good viewing platform with very good views. The falls themselves are very impressive. There is a wooden plank viewpoint that protrudes from the cliff, it has amazing views of the sea and the waterfalls. Gorgeous coastline and waterfall. Definitely worth a visit. 

This is a child-oriented theme park and resort. Centred around the best building toy in the world, there are lots of interactive rides and shops to enjoy. A great place to visit for friend groups, families and any game-lovers. The park itself is hugely entertaining for kids.

A true natural wonder that should be seen by the world. The visitor centre is world-class and very well designed. There are great views and stunning scenery, with parking available at the local railway station. This is a must-see spot in Ireland. If you like nature and geology, this should be at the top of places to visit. The best part of the trip will surely be the little tramway and the Rope Bridge.

Very clean and lovely sandy beach. Adjacent to the beach is a beautiful nine-hole golf course with a clubhouse that includes a cafe which is open to the public. There is parking which is free, and it has very easy access. Lots of seashells, light golden coloured sand and a clean sea, plus spectacular views.

Looks like there was a small village here at some point. A very interesting Neolithic building. The actual build is genius for being 2000years old. It is a great location, there is enough of the structure to make it interesting, you can get inside it, there is a storyboard as well. There is plenty of parking across the road. The layout of the building is very much still evident, with the guard post being particularly interesting. There are also stairs at the back of the broch which are accessible and allow you to climb to the top of the broch, which is good fun. Fascinating ancient historical building.

This is a beautifully decorated cathedral that has been well-preserved. Best time to visit is during the Cathedral Arts Festival or culture night. Both are great experiences that go beyond the religious architecture. Rich history with modern management, makes this one of the best tourist attractions. If you enjoy history and amazing architecture, it's definitely worth a visit. 

A mountain with some of the best views you are ever likely to see. A fabulous part of the world. Great place to enjoy nature with great walks and views. 

The beach is beautiful, big and sandy. Great for quality family time, with plenty of room for the kids to run around. Low water levels. 

Beautiful place for a quick hike. The view from the top is stunning, you can see all around! The climb is perfectly manageable. It's a moderate trail, with some stairs to the top, which are worth it. 

One of the nicest places to visit; white sand, cool water and breath-taking views. Beautiful beach with soft sand, which you can drive on. Very picturesque and great for a relaxing walk. A perfect place for a barbecue and family fun, it’s a must-visit. Views both towards the sea and the high cliffs behind are amazing.

Nice falls with a proper balcony made to view it.The falls cannot be described in words as they are so wonderful. The site is based nearby a waterfall where you can see salmons leaping. Enjoy a lovely little place and a lovely walk down to the falls, to see the salmon jumping is truly amazing in their natural habitat. There are lots of activities, including for children, and a very nice restaurant.The venue looks stunning. Overall, it’s a great place to visit for all ages.There is plenty of parking. 

Stunning views from the centre of the bridge and a great piece of architecture, that is easily accessible to go and sit for a while, with views over the river. 

 Very interesting and brilliantly laid out museum/visitors centre. Audio guides available and set in beautiful gardens with breath-taking views. The skeleton of the castle shows how the enemy leaves a castle after looting it.  Magnificent museum. Well laid out with some amazing artefacts. A real view of history, especially Jacobite history and relics. Well worth a visit.

There are kayaking trips and courses on the isle. A fantastic experience, the location is amazing, the quality of equipment is very high and the instruction is superb. The whole experience is informative and very enjoyable. Explore plenty of seals up close. 

This lakes and gardens, described as the finest woodland gardens in England, were first planted in 1801. This is a very beautiful garden with amazing lakes and trees. Absolutely stunning place to visit. Beautiful views from anywhere in the park, lakes are very well stocked with huge fish. See the rare colony of wallabies and catch sight of the deer roaming free.

An absolutely amazing place. The waterfalls are beautiful and make it very magical. The walk along it is also stunning. Lots of steps and rough ground. Great to visit all year round for a family day out.

The landscaping is breath-taking. It gives you a perfect view onto the mountains and the waterfall. Beautiful waterfall really close to the car park, easy to walk up with great views. There is plenty of space to pull over and have a rest. Boots are advised to be worn. 

One of the most iconic places in the UK. This bridge is every photographer’s dream, it looks stunning from every angle. If you have a chance to go inside the bridge, do make sure to visit the top, where they have a glass floor, which provides amazing views from 42 meters above. Visit the engine room where you can see how the bridge opens and operates, using hydraulic pressure. 

A beautiful sandy beach along the Coast of Northern Ireland. This stunning beach is definitely worth a visit. Whether you want to go horse riding, swimming, surfing, body boarding, or just go for a walk. Clear sand, clear water and beautiful views. There are sand dunes to climb and caves to explore.
