The cemetery has some of the finest funerary architecture in the country. It is place of peace and contemplation where a romantic profusion of trees, memorials and wildlife flourish. There are over 300 war graves at this cemetery. Most are from the First World War but there are over thirty from the Second World War, including a few women.
