Description
The castle is one of the greatest samples of military architecture in England. The castle is a beautiful but completely damaged medieval castle which was built in the late eleventh or early twelfth century. Fantastic castle even though it it's a ruin is extensive and you can go to the top and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. A good place to visit with kids.
