Description
The castle is the second largest castle in the country. This iconic 1000-year-old medieval castle is a favourite for film industry. There's something for everyone here. Film tours, history tours, a military museum, brook flying classes, falconry, the list goes on and on. This is a great day out for all of the family. There is plenty of history within the walls of the Castle. The castle is still in use by a Duke and Duchess. The gardens are lovely with fountains all around. It's nice to see an area with history as well as more modern links for people of all ages to enjoy.
