This is a 14th century castle and quite a lot of the structure is still intact. A beautiful castle ruin in a beautiful setting on beautiful surroundings, with large imposing lake and woodlands. Delightful ruined castles with spacious grounds. A lot of rooms and stairs to explore and climb. Access to several floors and well documented. Audio guide available. There's a decent car park at the site. A quiet, architectural heritage and a nice walk.
