A lovely place to visit regardless of the season or the weather, the Palace & Gardens are visually stunning & is all surrounded by a massive ditch that is worth walking around. Lovely location near the Cathedral. A lovely garden to visit in a significant historic setting. Picturesque location. A circular walk will take you around the Palace’s moat and the Cathedral, giving great views of both. The Palace has a really peaceful and beautiful garden in the summer, and even in winter, it is enjoyable to visit and walk around. This is a most highly recommended place to see.
