The park is a stately home with gardens. The Palladian house was built in 1704. This is largely historic, the decoration is exquisite and gives the impression that the house is still inhabited by the family. The park is amazing, in particular that part between walls where you walk amongst trees, flowers and pheasants. The park is out of this world, so beautiful. You can see how Jane Austen fell in love with this place.
