Description

This has got to be one of the places to visit for those water boat enthusiasts especially if you are into industrial history or even wondering why the channel systems developed in Britain. There is so much to learn for here that it practically is more of an educational centre. There is ample car parking,  the reception area has the gift shop and a very decent cafe indeed with many dietary requirements catered for. The museum has many different buildings and exhibits to look at and learn from, ideal for kids.T he museum shows you all the  areas where the long boats were used and some where you didn't know they were used. Then you go outdoors to see a few long boats, they look amazing, kids will love it, and they have a cafe with some outdoor seating, so it's a lovely day out.
