A great local museum. The building and its history is fascinating. Tall Ships, a wonderful part of this City’s old and historic part. Good educational visit for families with lots of interesting exbibits and history on local waterways. Some lovely events throughout the year including Santa boat trips near Christmas and school trips if you book ahead. A particularly interesting museum, not just inside but there are exhibits surrounding the old harbour or dockland. One can certainly gain an insight into this old harbour by studying old machinery and docking facilities.
