This is an amazing historical place. Great place to see a Roman Fort. There are loads of fort foundations here to see and a brilliant remains of a bath house, you can walk round and get up really close. Beautifully kept grounds sympathetically to the rural surrounding landscape. You can see the ruins of all four main gates and barracks as well as the heart of the fort. A nice little gift shop and information centre. The museum is laid out in an interesting and informative way showing the artefacts and explaining about them. This is suitable for all ages. Well worth a visit.
