A megalithic tomb dating back 5,000 years. This is an extraordinary chambered cairn of unusual size. You can go inside if you don’t mind a short crawl but you can stand inside. The interior stonework is stunning when you think of its age. Beautifully maintained and in a wonderful situation. Lovely walk along coastline to this well-preserved cairn. This was once a tomb for the dead but it resembles the houses of the living. No charges for entry. Parking is some distance from the site.
