The castle is a two-storey ruined tower house. Great views over the bay. The castle now has a viewing platform to allow you to climb to the top. Once there the view is stunning over the bay. The castle was built in the 14th century. It's very peaceful and there are educational plaques along the way. They have installed a metal stairway and landing inside of the castle, which allows visitors to have a better view of the incredible landscape around the castle.
