This is one of the places that makes the history of the Jacobite rebellion tangible. A visit to the nearby museum is encouraged. Some historical legends rest here. The surrounding hills and the Outer Hebrides on the ocean are just breath-taking. The views and walk up are stunning. Well worth a look around and a place to sit and consider.
